From: "Roger Stockton" To: Subject: Submission to EV FTP archive.Date: Thursday, June 15, 2000 6:24 PMHello Zig,The attached file contains a copy of SIMPLEV v3.1 along with additionalsimulation data files. SIMPLEV v3.1 is an EV and hybrid vehicle simulationpackage developed by/for the Idaho National Engineerng and EnvironmentalLaboratory (INEEL), and is made available FREE OF CHARGE by them.Unfortunately, they no longer support the package and it is no longeravailable for download from their website (although they will email a copyto anyone who contacts them). The package is described at:http://ev.inel.gov/simplev/desc.html.The additional simulation data files (Optima YT, 42Ah Hawker Genesis,Ovonic NiMH, US Electricar, US Postal service driving cycles) are availablefor download at http://ev.inel.gov/simplev/userfile.html.For convenience, I extracted the contents of the self-extracting archive INELsent me, and PKZIPped them into a .zip archive along with the additionalsimulation files. The 482kB file SIMPLEV.ZIP contains 177 files and should beunzipped in its own folder.I have used the program only to the extent of running it up under Win98and browsing some of the online help/info files.Cheers,Roger Stocktonrstockton@delta-q.com---- The license terms are as follows: You may use and distribute this copyright version of SIMPLEV version 3.1 free of charge.
